It used to be said that the highpoint of the circus was the clowns …….but now it seems that the clowns are running A circus ……………by clowns I mean our political leaders of all political hues and nationalities, and the circus ….of course ….us….for as I try to find some semblance of order in economic life it gets rough ridden the next day…..we live in an age of daily economic contradictions…..it could get hourly…sigh!
The blame game has started…..of course every politician is blameless ….they always seem to understand publicly but appear clueless as to the question of reviving the economy ….well so they resort to propping it up……with the tax payers money…of course ….give bailouts to some big corporations so that bonuses can still be paid on time……all in the interest of the national and global economy……and then get these Corporations to downsize after using our money to save their butts….
They urge us to understand, …. encourtage us to be satisfied with what we have , appreciate the fact that the public is affected by the the lack of jobs, food and security, encourage us to believe in the system and of course spend and worse lo and behold ….invest in whatever uninvestable investment there is left to invest….only ordinary citizens qualify…for the rich have cashed out their investments long ago…….
And, sure as always the public gets screwed by our over glorified and clueless politicians….but hey they get paid by us for screwing us up……I think I’m perfect for political office….err Being a CLOWN

“By centering our lives on timeless, unchanging principles, we create a fundamental paradigm of effective living. It is the center that puts all other centers in perspective.”
Stephen R. Covey
What then constitutes EFFECTIVE LIVING ? Is there a right way or wrong way of living or even ineffective living ? What then are these mantra like timeless and unchanging principles ? DOES ONE SHOE FIT ALL?
There is a core of certainty in every thing we do or belief we hold , but at the same time there is also present a penumbra of uncertainty……..
The core of certainty that is certain is that all of us will DIE ! Period ! The next most certain thing in Life is that Life is constantly uncertain and is in a state of flux…in varying degrees…….in varying lifes
The only uncertainty is how effectively we evolve in the penumbra and the vaccilating state of flux………. how succesful we are leads us either to the new core or the ever widening penumbra…..
”Work as though you would live forever, and live as though you would die today.”
Og Mandino
When I was in University I had a similarly different concept to life which was …..Live for today, plan for tomorrow But party tonight ! Well as time passed by I still hold true to my beliefs………hey …..We’ve only got one life and life in itself is one big party !
’ If you don’t get lost, there’s a chance you may never be found ‘………………..
And once again whether we are found or stay lost still depends on a host of variables and choices some of which we have no control of…..bummer !
Further, if you have never been lost then there is nothing really to find……real bummer! And if you stay lost well………….you might be safer there …….after all being found is not so great !
I think I would subscribe the thoughts of Samuel Beckett………..” My mistakes are my life “……..and equally…. my life is a lively mistake !
Hey but I cant figure out if I’m still lost , found or never got lost or even never been found…err wouldnt that still make me lost…….mucho bummer!
The philosophy behind the concept of Karma is that the effects of all deeds create past, present and future experiences , and therefor making one responsible for his or her own lives as well as the joys and pains you bring not only to yourself but to others aroung you.
Hence we are all screwed since even if we live by the ethos of the good bookand living rightously as we are still affected by the misdeeds of others….and even worse …… they do benefit from our good deeds !
I cant help but think what effect the current economic woes have on the rich…………..looks like a financial spring cleaning is underway and the biggest losers will definitely be the highly geared rich people who may by all accounts may be flushed away to be replaced by the newly rich.
Well lifes fair and the economic shuffle when it does happen does change the cards of life of many at one go…..wonder though how they do feel being downtrodden……..errrrr with their slush and trust funds I guess the only thing bruised will be their ever inflatable egoes.
That leaves the only downtrodden people around will be the ones who invested their hard earned cash for the hope of a better life………same ol same ol story……
